The Duggles Way explains who we are, what we do, what we believe and what we plan to accomplish. It establishes a common understanding not only for those of us who drive here, but for all who interact with us.

Born of humble beginnings in Wandowie in Western Australia, Edward von Duggles III was an active an adventurous child whose first few years of life were happy, yet uneventful.

"Duggles" online racing career can be traced back to 1978 when at the tender age of 13, he built his first simulator.

During a stellar career, he was voted "Driver Most Likely to Succeed" in 1982, and in 1987, less than 10 years after joining the sim-racing community, he took out the prestigious "Hardest Trier Award - Global". In 1999, he founded the famous German sim-racing group, Polehunters.

Upon joining OMR in May 2008, Duggles quickly became the new benchmark. His attitude towards other members, his vision for the future of the club combined with a clean style of driving were immediately apparent to his constituents.

Duggles describes 6 simple tenet's of operation on how to operate a successful sim-racing club:

At the heart of The Duggles Way is our vision... to be the Australian racing group most admired for its people, championships and team performance.

Our vision means we:

• provide support to members who need help;
• treat all members with courtesy and respect;
• accept race penalties, formats and club decisions without becoming disruptive;
• deliver world-class championship series and race formats.

2. VALUES

OMR's foundation is built on our values, which distinguish us and guide our actions. We conduct our races in an ethical manner which is both competitive and demonstrative of good sportsmanship. We respect the standards, guidelines and protocols when we race.

3. INTEGRITY

We are honest with others and ourselves. We meet the highest ethical standards in all championship series. We do what we say we will do.

4. TRUST

We trust, respect and support each other, and we strive to earn the trust of our members.

5. ACCOUNTABILITY

We accept responsibility and hold ourselves accountable for driving related incidents, results and actions.

We learn from our driving mistakes and value the feedback and perspective provided by other drivers.

6. PERFORMANCE

We are committed to excellence in online racing, and we strive to continually improve. We are passionate about achieving results for our members that exceed expectations.
